Dr. Peter W. Simonds founded and serves as the President of Peak Achievement Consultants. Centered on the premise that useful, discrete skills can be taught that will enhance anyone's leadership performance, Dr. Simonds believes that his training experiences assure the maximum impact on each participant's professional and personal lives.

A talented trainer and gifted facilitator, Dr. Simonds experience exceeds 25 years in developing training programs and managing large and complex events. These include administering all aspects of two conferences with 900 and 350 delegates respectively.

Born in New York City and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. Simonds attended the University of Rhode Island receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling. In addition, he received a Doctor of Education in Higher and Adult Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. He served as the Dean of Student Development and Leadership at Saint Mary's College of California and Associate Dean of Students at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Simonds' dissertation topic, "Leadership Training Programs for College Student Leaders: A Descriptive Study," reflected his dedication to the field of leadership development. The National Association of Campus Activities published the results of this study, as well as key pieces of his leadership-training program in the book, A Beginner's Guide to Leadership Training Programs. Recognized as a national authority, his presentation of numerous sessions at various national conferences on leadership training establishes Dr. Simonds as an outstanding resource for any group.
